Boston Marathon Bombings
The Boston Marathon bombings was an assault on our freedom. The Boston Marathon is the oldest marathon in our country and one of the most important marathons run in the world. Many runners not only tested their inner limits but also ran for such worthy causes as honoring the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School and cancer research. Despite the horrors of the day there were so many stories of heroism and regular citizens just helping each other. Thankfully, there were police officers, firefighters, first aide responders, and world class medical facilities nearby with some of the best doctors in the world to treat the wounded. As a result of he quick action of so many heroes, many lives were saved. Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. We pray for a speedy recovery for those injured.
This carnage and senseless violence must stop. We are confident with law enforcement’s tremendous commitment and resources which will be brought to bear, that the perpetrator(s) are swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.
