Alvin R. Leonard Foundation Sponsors Relay for Life in Mendham New Jersey

The Alvin R. Leonard Foundation is proudly sponsoring a team that is participating in the Relay for Life which is being held this year in Mendham, New Jersey on Friday June 14 and June 15, 2013. This event is conducted by the American Cancer Society and participants will walk throughout the night to raise money and awareness in the fight against cancer. Students, teachers and families from the West Morris Central and Mendham High Schools will be walking together for this very important and worthy cause. There are more than 1500 local citizens planning to walk.

The Alvin R. Leonard Foundation was created by Todd Leonard, who were blessed to work with their late father, legendary trial attorney and founder of Leonard and Leonard, PA. Since its creation in 2009 we have raised thousands of dollars in the fight against pancreatic cancer. All funds raised go directly to the fight against pancreatic cancer and to help families. In years past we have donated blanket warmers to help pancreatic cancer patients stay warm during their treatment. This year the foundation has newly designed t shirts to be worn by all members of the “Angel Wings”. Partner Todd Leonard and his wife, Jane, will be joining the Angel Wings and walking as well in this fund raising event.
