The Todd J. Leonard Law Firm is proud to announce that once again, Founding Partner Todd J. Leonard has been selected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers® list, which was published on March 12, 2019. This marks the eighth time Mr. Leonard has been recognized by his peers, as he was previously honored by this accolade in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Each year, Super Lawyers® Magazine only chooses up to 5% of attorneys in each state to be included in its listing. Attorney Todd Leonard’s accomplishment of being continually selected year after year clearly demonstrates his excellence in personal injury litigation.
Per the Super Lawyers® website, it states “Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.”
Todd founded his New Jersey Personal Injury Law Firm after being privileged to work alongside his late father, Alvin R. Leonard, Esq., a legendary New Jersey personal injury trial lawyer. Todd’s late father represented his seriously injured clients for over 47 years, and Todd proudly continues this legacy of excellence.
Todd has dedicated his entire legal career – over 35 years – representing thousands of clients in all types of serious personal injury cases. Todd is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, and has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ) and holds a lifetime membership of the Multi-Million and Million Dollars Advocates Forum. He is a member of the New Jersey Committee on Safety and Health (NJ COSH), an organization comprised of lawyers, doctors and unions, “working together to protect the rights of injured workers.”
Todd feels it is vitally important to be involved in the community, and supports numerous organizations. For over 20 years, Todd has been a basketball coach for the Morris County’s Special Olympics program. He was also honored to be selected as the Volunteer of the Year for 2005 from the Arc of New Jersey, as well as from the Arc of Morris County.
He also proudly supports the entire law enforcement community and first responders. He is a Platinum Sponsor, Member and Trustee of The 200 Club of Morris County, and donates regularly to the Mendham Twp., Roxbury and Denville Police Benevolent Associations.
