Civil Sex Abuse Lawsuits and Sex Abuse Education in New Jersey Schools
Assisting Those Injured by Sexual Abuse for More Than 25 Years
Sexual abuse is, unfortunately, a common cause of physical and emotional trauma. In the fall of 2012 New Jersey legislators underlined this fact by proposing sexual abuse education in New Jersey’s public schools.
Under the new legislation, schools would have the option of teaching children how to recognize the potential for sexual abuse as well as how to prevent it and respond to it. Many legislators as well as educators feel that arming kids with the knowledge to prevent abuse is worth any negative effects.
